Blood of an Immortal

I have finally finished one complete story line for my book Kindom of the Falling Star.  I have finished all 8 chapters for Yeino and have compiled them into a novella of about 28,000 words.  This is a significant step for me as now I know that my visions can be completed and that the time and effort has been worth it as I finally have a finished product to display.  I still have 3 more story lines to write, but I do have a two chapter head start on all of them.

The next charater I am going to write for is Myra.  She was the inspiration for the original prologue, but since then has been moved to a major character.  Today I plotted out the final 6 chapters for he along with the epilogue, which ties closely with her story.  I only got 1000 words done today, but so far, the total for the book stands at 54,000, which is over half way.  I am confident that the final book will be well over 100,000 words now and will continue to work towards my goal.

I know progress has been slow, but then again, it has been only four months and I think my pace is still quite good.  This is the farthest I have ever delved into a project as usually around 20,000 words I would get bored or discouraged with my work or lack of story, but so far, I have been bursting with ideas and storylines and can't wait to get them onto paper.

My writing continues this week as I have booked it off from work and hope to acomplish at least 2000 words a day, though today was somewhat of an oddity as I had to rehash all I wrote for Myra and plan the following chapters.  I got half way to my goal though, which is something.

Anyways, I am thinking of posting excerpts from my novella about Yeino which I titled Blood of an Immortal, but haven't come to a concrete decision yet.
