More Hockey

This is a busy week for me, which of course will cut into my writing time.  I have a hockey game tonight in Brampton at 6.  This is just a warm up for the tournament I will be playing in this weekend.  I received my schedule a few weeks ago and I must say, it's going to be tough.  My first game is at 8am, the second is at 2pm and then I have a 3rd at either 8 or 9pm, depending on how we do.  If we win our night game, we play Sunday at noon and if we win that, we play again at 4.  It could be a very long weekend and I will probably be quite sore.

On another note, I wrote for about 45 minutes last night, though it was not for my book.  I sometimes have trouble writing dialogue so I watched a scene from the HBO show Rome and took down the dialogue.  From there, I watched the scene again to fill in the descriptions, actions and emotions of the characters involved.  I will post it tomorrow.  I like it, but I know I can do better.  It really helped being able to picture the scene, characters and their mannerisms as they spoke.  I will be trying to picture my scenes in my head so they can be as well constructed and so I will have proper emotions and dialogue within my book.

As I said, I seem to be slowing down, but this is only in an effort to improve before I produce a finished product.

Due to the weather, I will not be traveling to Brampton for hockey and should have some time to write.
